Use it as your phone number for verification codes from Telegram, WhatsApp, Revolut, Instagram, Amazon, Meta (Facebook), PayPal and crypto exchanges. After you activate it, codes arrive in the Telegram bot @DegenPhoneTonBot. A Fragment +888 number works only for Telegram login.
Your personal number stays private. You can resell the number on the DegenPhone Market, or send the NFT to another TON wallet.

Mint from 150 GRAM. A roll is one try at a random +372 number, and minting makes it your NFT. You pay for rolls and the mint in GRAM (formerly Toncoin), from your own TON wallet, connected inside Telegram. The app shows the final price before you pay. Service is 2 years prepaid. SMS only for now. Calls may come later.
Which apps work with a DegenPhone number?
You can use a DegenPhone +372 number as your SMS verification number for Telegram, WhatsApp, PayPal, crypto exchanges and the other services below. Each app sets its own rules on which numbers it accepts.
| Service | What to expect |
|---|---|
| Telegram | Make a new account with the number. Telegram, not DegenPhone, may ask you to buy 1 week of Premium, about $1. Phone number for Telegram |
| Use the WhatsApp app on your phone, on Wi-Fi, and choose the code by SMS. Phone number for WhatsApp | |
| Revolut | Revolut sends a 6-digit SMS code at sign-up. The country where you live decides if you can open an account. A +372 number does not make you eligible. Phone number for Revolut |
| Sign-up and login codes arrive by SMS. | |
| Amazon | One-time sign-in codes arrive by SMS. |
| Meta (Facebook) | Facebook confirmation codes arrive by SMS. |
| PayPal | Security codes arrive by SMS, in your bot chat. |
| Crypto exchanges | Login codes arrive by SMS. Do not sell or send the NFT while an exchange account still uses the number. |
Services that need a SIM in your phone will not work. Services that send codes only by call will not work yet. Codes follow the NFT, so keep your seed phrase (your wallet's recovery words) safe.
Which works with more apps: a +888 or a +372 number?
A DegenPhone +372 number works with many more apps. It is also a cheap alternative to Fragment +888 numbers: mint from 150 GRAM, compared with over 2,500 GRAM for the cheapest fixed-price +888 number on Fragment.
| DegenPhone +372 number | Fragment +888 number | |
|---|---|---|
| Price | Mint from 150 GRAM. The app shows the final price before you pay | Over 2,500 GRAM for the cheapest fixed-price number |
| SMS codes | From any app or person, in your bot chat. Each service decides if it accepts a +372 number | None. Telegram login codes show on Fragment. Other services work only if they choose to support +888 |
| Your current Telegram account | Switching it to this number usually fails. Make a new account | Fragment says any existing account can switch to an unused +888 number |
| SIM and calls | No SIM, and no calls yet. You rely on DegenPhone to deliver every SMS | None |
| Paid for | 2 years prepaid | Fragment lists no time limit |
How do verification codes reach a DegenPhone number?
Codes reach your chat with @DegenPhoneTonBot after 3 steps. For later codes, you repeat only step 3.
- 1Get a number. In @DegenPhoneTonBot, tap START, then Open App and Connect Wallet, inside Telegram. Roll a random +372 number, then mint it within 15 minutes or roll again. Or buy an exact number on the DegenPhone Market.
- 2Tap Unlock (Activate) in My Numbers when you need a code. It opens the number's SMS to you. It is free, and you do it once. From then on, the number shows as Recycled (activated), and Recycled numbers usually sell for less.
- 3Sign up and read the code. Use the service's official app on your phone, on Wi-Fi. The code arrives in your bot chat, usually in seconds. My Numbers keeps the last 15 SMS.
Questions about one number for verification codes
What if I do not receive a verification code on my DegenPhone number?
Check 3 things first. Activate the number in My Numbers. Connect your wallet inside Telegram, not only on the website. Ask for the code in the service's official app on your phone, on Wi-Fi. The 5 checks for a missing code cover the rest. If no code comes, ask in @degenphone_chat. The DegenPhone team never writes to you first.
Can I use the same DegenPhone number for every app?
Yes. Enter the same DegenPhone +372 number in every app that accepts it. All their codes arrive in one chat with @DegenPhoneTonBot, and you activate the number once, not once for each app. A Recycled number from the DegenPhone Market may still carry the previous owner's Telegram account. Rolled numbers are always Fresh (never activated), so roll one or buy a Fresh number.
Can I use one phone number for several accounts?
Yes, but one account on each service. Use the same DegenPhone +372 number for Telegram, WhatsApp, PayPal and a crypto exchange. Telegram says each phone number is a separate account, so a second Telegram account needs a second number. If you sell the NFT or lose your wallet, you lose the codes for all of them.
What happens to my verification codes if I sell the number?
The new owner gets them once they open the DegenPhone app in Telegram, because the number moves with its NFT. That includes codes for accounts you set up with the number. Before you sell or send the NFT, change the phone number on those accounts. A 2-Step Verification password alone does not stop someone with the login code from deleting your Telegram account. If you buy a number, open the DegenPhone app in Telegram before you ask for any code.
Can I use a free virtual number for verification codes instead?
You can, but you do not keep it. Free SMS sites share and recycle their numbers, so someone else can later sign up with the same number and lock you out. Temporary numbers from sites such as 5sim cost from about $0.10, and 5sim refunds the order if no SMS arrives. You cannot reuse that number after the order. A DegenPhone number stays yours while you hold the NFT, with 2 years prepaid.
