Who needs an EU phone number for Revolut?
A separate +372 number is useful if you want your banking codes away from your everyday SIM, or if you change SIMs when you travel. Revolut's codes then come to your Telegram chat, not to whichever SIM is in your phone.

- You lose your SIM or change operator. The number on your Revolut account stays the same.
- You travel with a local SIM. Your home number may stop getting SMS abroad. Your +372 number still gets Revolut's codes, as long as you have Wi-Fi or mobile data.
How do you change your phone number in Revolut?
Activate your DegenPhone number first, because Revolut's confirmation code reaches the bot chat only after that. Then change the number in Revolut's Personal details while you can still log in.
- 1Check before you pay. In Revolut, open your profile, then Account, then Personal details, and tap your phone number. Look for Estonia (+372) in the country code list, then go back without saving. This shows that Revolut lists +372, not that it will accept your number.
- 2Get the number. In @DegenPhoneTonBot, tap Start, then Open App, then Connect Wallet inside Telegram. Keeper (formerly Tonkeeper) and Walt (formerly Wallet in Telegram) both work. If you connect only on the website, codes will not reach the bot. Roll for a random number. It is held for you for 15 minutes, so mint it in that time or roll again.
- 3Tap Unlock (Activate) in My Numbers, the app's list of your numbers. It's free, and you do it only once. The number then shows as Recycled permanently, which usually lowers its resale price.
- 4Change the number in Revolut. Go back to Personal details, tap your phone number, enter your DegenPhone number with +372 and type the code from the bot chat. Menu names can be different in your country.
If Revolut refuses the number, it still gets SMS codes from other services, and you can sell the NFT on the DegenPhone Market.
How does the Revolut verification code reach you?
Revolut sends the code by SMS to your +372 number. Once the number is activated, DegenPhone forwards it to your chat with @DegenPhoneTonBot, usually within seconds.

Is it safe to get bank codes on a DegenPhone number?
With a DegenPhone number, safety depends on 2 things: your TON wallet and DegenPhone's service. Whoever holds the NFT gets the number's SMS, so guard the wallet.

If DegenPhone's service stops, codes stop too, because there is no SIM to fall back on. DegenPhone's system receives each SMS and keeps the last 15 in My Numbers. Nobody else can see your SMS.
- If you lose the wallet, you lose the number. Never send your seed phrase, your wallet's secret recovery words, to anyone.
- Keep codes to yourself. Revolut says it won't ask you to share verification or security codes over the phone. The DegenPhone team never sends you a private message first.
- Change the phone number on your Revolut account before you sell. Codes go to the new holder once they open the DegenPhone app in Telegram.
- Start with a Fresh number. A rolled number is always Fresh: nobody activated it on DegenPhone before you. Your own activation then marks it Recycled. On the Market, check the label: a Recycled number's earlier holder could read its SMS and may still have accounts on it.
- SMS only. No calls yet, and no mobile data. Calls may come later.
Can a +888, temporary or virtual number work for Revolut?
A Fragment +888 number can't receive Revolut's SMS: Fragment says it can only be used to sign up and log in to Telegram. A temporary SMS number works once, and someone else may get it later. For a bank, that is unsafe: your next code could go to that person. Rented virtual numbers, such as yesim's, are sold for Revolut and stay active while you pay. If you only need Revolut's codes, renting costs less. A DegenPhone number costs more up front, but you own it. It also gets codes from other services, and you can resell it.

Questions about using a DegenPhone number with Revolut
Can an Estonian number help me open a Revolut account?
No, not by itself. Revolut opens accounts only for people who legally live in a country it supports. A +372 number does not change where you live. Some countries also want a local number: Revolut Japan says you can't open a Japanese account with a foreign phone number. When you sign up, Revolut sends a 6-digit code by SMS, asks for your country of residence and checks your ID with a photo and a selfie.
Why isn't my Revolut verification code arriving?
Usually your DegenPhone number isn't activated yet, or your wallet is connected only on the website. In the DegenPhone app, tap Unlock (Activate) in My Numbers. Connect your wallet in the app inside Telegram, then ask Revolut for a new code. If it still doesn't arrive, follow the 5 checks for a code that isn't arriving.
How long can I keep the number on my Revolut account?
DegenPhone service is 2 years prepaid, with no monthly fee. The NFT stays yours. If you plan to stop using the number, put a different phone number on your Revolut account first. If you lose access to the number before that, use the lost-access option on Revolut's login screen.
What happens to my Revolut account if I sell the number?
The buyer starts getting the number's SMS, including Revolut's codes, once they open the DegenPhone app in Telegram. Before you sell or send the NFT, change the phone number in Revolut's Personal details to one you will keep. Do it while your DegenPhone number still gets the confirmation code.
Is DegenPhone part of Revolut or its support line?
No. DegenPhone has no connection to Revolut and can't help with your account. Revolut's own support is the chat inside the Revolut app. Revolut also tells you to use that chat to check whether a call or message really came from Revolut.
